Shooting On Chicago Train Leads To Arrest, Red Line Service Returns
Chicago Police arrested a woman after a man was shot on a train that temporarily halted Red Line service.

CHICAGO, IL — A woman was arrested following a shooting on a Chicago Red Line train Saturday night, according to Chicago Police.
The shooting happened after 8 p.m. on a Red Line CTA train in the 1100 block of South State Street, ABC7 and other media outlets reported. The shooting followed an argument between the female suspect and male victim, according to police.
ABC7 said the man went to the hospital and was stable. Police arrested the suspect in the 1100 block of South Wabash Avenue, according to the television station.

The shooting caused CTA's Red Line service to temporarily be halted between Fullerton and 63rd due to police activity. After 10 p.m., CTA reported normal service was resuming.
