Shots Fired In Loop Saturday Evening: Chicago Police

CHICAGO, IL — A man was arrested after a gun was fired Saturday evening in a bustling commercial area of the Loop, according to police.

A 38-year-old man was taken into custody around 7 p.m. after police responding to a call of shots fired saw him with a gun outside a business in the zero block of East Randolph Street, authorities said, just steps away from Macy's and Millenium Park.

No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation, according to police, who said they recovered the gun.
