ILLINOIS — Slightly warmer temperatures are expected for the weekend, before blustery, cold conditions approach the area on Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday has a high of 50 degrees, and will be partly sunny during the day, according to the weather service. There is a chance of rain on Saturday night into Sunday, especially to the south and east, the weather service said.

There is a slight chance of rain and snow showers before 9 p.m. on Sunday, and a chance of snow showers between 9 p.m. and midnight, the weather service said.
