Snow Showers: Reduced Visibility Possible, Unseasonable Cold
There's a high likelihood of snow and unseasonable cold. Here's when it could hit the Chicago area.
ILLINOIS — After a rainy and blustery Thursday, scattered snow showers are expected on Friday. According to the National Weather Service, a light dusting of snow is possible between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The weather service said there is a high confidence that snow will happen, but it's less certain what the impact will be and exactly where it will hit.
Some snow showers may be temporarily heavy, and combined with winds around 35 mph, this could result in brief, sharply reduced visibility, according to the weather service.
