Big Snow, Warmup After Sunny, Cold Weekend For Illinois
The next chance for snow is Tuesday, as a storm system moves into the area.
ILLINOIS — After a few inches of lake effect snow on Friday, the weekend looks to be dry and mostly sunny, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 22 degrees, according to the weather service. Wind chill values as low as minus 10 are expected, before temperatures rebound on Sunday.
Winds could gust as high as 15 mph on both Saturday and Sunday, according to the weather service.

Sunday will have a high near 27, and will kick off a warming trend which will stick around into early next week, according to the weather service.
The high for Monday is 40 degrees, and Tuesday has a high of 45, before a storm system moves into the area on Tuesday, according to the weather service. Snow is possible Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but no specific accumulation or tracking of the storm has been given yet.
