Suspect In Murder Arrives In Chicago After Extradition From AZ
Isaiah Brown is back in Chicago after having been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Arizona on a murder charge.

CHICAGO, IL — A man wanted for murder in Chicago is back in Cook County after having been extradited from Arizona, where he was arrested in August. Isaiah Brown, 37, of the 100 block of North Lockwood Avenue, is suspected of the deadly shooting of Jemarion Jackson, 23, in April.
The Chicago Tribune reported the U.S. Marshals made the arrest in Yuma, Arizona, on Aug. 31. They had to deal with Brown barricading himself in a home for a short time, the report said, before turning himself in.
KYMA, Yuma's NBC affiliate, reported the search warrant was classified "high risk."

In the April shooting, prosecutors say, Brown was a passenger in a car in the 4800 block of West Monroe Street with two others when they saw Jackson. Surveillance footage shows the car drive around the block and park by an alley in Jackson's path, prosecutors say, according to the Tribune report.
When Jackson was close to the alley, Brown and another suspect got out of the car. Brown raised his arm as if to shoot a handgun, prosecutors say, and Jackson ran away towards Cicero.

The second suspect pulled out a gun and shot Jackson, hitting his lower right chest, prosecutors say, adding that one of the shots hit Brown in the back.
The two got back into the car and drove to Stroger where Brown was treated. He told police that he was shot while in the area to buy marijuana, but didn't know who the shooter was.
Jackson was also taken to Stroger where he was pronounced dead.
Hours after the shooting, the 2017 Dodge Journey the accused were using was found on fire with a can of lighter fluid nearby
Tawayna Gordon, the driver of the car, was charged with murder in May and pleaded not guilty, the Tribune reports. The gunman is still at large.
