Table Tennis Pops Up as Activity in Millennium Park
International "UnPlugNPlay" series to promote physical activity began in Chicago.
Chicago, IL - An effort to increase physical activity and to detract the use of electronics saw success in its Chicago debut on Tuesday.
“UnPlugNPlay” in Millennium Park featured dozens of people playing table tennis on portable tables.
Nine tables were set up, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. All were being used.
“UnPlugNPlay” is scheduled to take place in other cities worldwide as well. Other cities in the United States and Europe will hold similar activities.
