Teen Shot And Killed At Rogers Park Gas Station

A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot at the Howard and Sheridan Mobil Station Tuesday morning.

CHICAGO, IL — A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the Rogers Park neighborhood early Tuesday, police said. Around 2:40 a.m., Antonio Monteza was hanging out with friends outside the Mobil gas station, 7550 N. Sheridan Rd., when someone walked up to him and shot him multiple times, striking him in the head and the stomach, according to authorities.

The boy was taken from the corner of Sheridan Road and Howard Street to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to police. No one was in reported to be in custody in connection with the incident.
