Temps Warm Near 90, Dry Weather Through Mid-Week

Rain does not look to be in the forecast for the start of the week, but after mid-week there is a chance of rain and storms.

ILLINOIS — After a chance of storms on Sunday afternoon, the next few days look to be warm and dry, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

There is a low chance for storms Sunday afternoon, mainly along and south of Interstate 80, the weather service said. Sunday night looks to be dry, as does Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Monday will have a high of 87, Tuesday a high of 89 and Wednesday a high of 84 degrees, according to the weather service. Near the lake, temps will be in the mid-to-upper 70s on Monday, and it will be cooler near the lake on Wednesday.

Thursday has a high of 87 and Friday a high of 88, so temps will still be warm, but there is a slight chance of rain and storms on Thursday, Thursday night, Friday and Friday night.
