Texas 'Most Wanted Sex Offender' Has Chicago Ties: U.S. Marshals
David Sauceda Medina, 62, has criminal history, and has failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements in Texas.

CHICAGO, IL — A man on the Texas Department of Public Safety's "Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders" list is known to have ties to the Chicago area. The U.S. Marshals Service has joined the search for 62-year-old David Sauceda Medina, who is wanted on a warrant issued out of Bell County, Texas for indecency with a child/sexual contact. According to U.S. Marshals, a warrant was issued in March by the Austin Police Department for Medina's failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Authorities said Medina is 5'9'"and 200 pounds, with tattoos on his back, left hand and both arms, and has been known to go to homeless shelters, though he's considered transient.
The Texas Department of Public Safety increased its reward to $8,000 for this month, and the U.S. Marshals are offering an additional cash reward of $5,000 for information leading Medina's arrest.

Medina's lengthy criminal history includes a 2008 conviction in Florida for an attempt to commit sexual battery with a 12-year-old girl and a 2010 conviction in Texas for indecency with a child/sexual contact involving a 7-year-old girl. He was discharged from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in May 2016 after serving a 6-year sentence and was required to register as a sex offender for life, officials reported.
