Thousands of Child Porn Photos, Videos Found On Northwest Side Man's Laptop: Feds
The 61-year-old man faces a child pornography charge stemming from an ongoing federal investigation.

CHICAGO, IL — A Northwest Side man is being held by federal authorities after a search of his laptop uncovered thousands of photos and videos of child pornography, according to statement by the U.S. Attroney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois.
Scott Reskey, 61, was charged Monday with possessing an image of child pornography involving a minor younger than 12. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
Reskey was arrested last week at his Chicago home. According to prosecutors, a search of Reskey's laptop allegedly discovered more than 45,000 images and more than 200 videos of apparent child pornography.

The laptop search and the subsequent charge against Reskey stemmed from a federal investigation of an online community that used an anonymous website to send and receive child pornography. That investigation is still ongoing, authorities said.
