Topless Women and Booze Could Make Chicago a 'World-Class' City: Alderman
Chicago City Council to consider an ordinance that would allow alcohol sales while dancers are topless.

CHICAGO, IL - Chicago aldermen are considering an ordinance that would allow strip clubs in the city to serve alcohol while topless dancers are present.
Currently, establishments in Chicago aren’t allowed to do both. And that hurts when it comes to tourism dollars and making sure Chicago is “a world-class city,” 37th Ward Ald. Emma Mitts said.
According to the Chicago Eater, Mitts said the current BYOB policy prevents strip club owners from watching how much their customers drink, and that’s when crime happens. The city’s reputation as a “world class city” also means restrictions shouldn’t be put on the adult entertainment industry.
