Uber Delivers Puppies To Chicago Businesses Because Workplaces Need More Cuteness
The car-ride service will offer these drop-offs for 15-minute play breaks Wednesday. Find out how you can order one.

CHICAGO, IL — Need a puppy play break to help you get through the work day? On Wednesday, the Anti-Cruelty Society and Uber are teaming up to deliever pups to Chicago businesses for 15 minutes of frolicking. The joint effort is a way to raise awareness for pet adoption during National Pet Week.
The drop-offs will be done from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and they can be ordered by tapping the blue "UberPUPPIES" bar at the bottom of car-ride service's app. The cost is $30, and the proceeds go to the Anti-Cruelty Society.

But the puppy deliveries do have a few stipulations. Here's what you need to know before you order:
- Pups can't be delivered to homes and residences.
- There are a limited number of puppies available, so a match might not be possible.
- Before ordering, people should make sure their workplace allows animals and make sure no one has dog allergies.
The puppy playtimes also could come with a bonus. Some of the dogs might be eligible for adoption, which means those 15 minutes of adorability could last a lot longer. Check with the Anti-Cruelty Society about availability during orders.
