Vehicle Stolen With Baby Inside In South Loop: Police
The vehicle and infant were both found unharmed, according to Chicago police.
CHICAGO, IL — A vehicle was stolen Wednesday with a baby inside, according to Chicago police.
The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Michigan Avenue in the South Loop, police said. A 32-year-old woman parked her vehicle with an 11-month-old boy in the backseat, turned the vehicle off to go pay for parking, and, when she returned, found the vehicle and baby were gone, according to police.
Officers found the vehicle nearby in the 100 block of East Cullerton Street with the infant safe inside, police said. No one was immediately in custody and detectives were investigating, according to police.
