Village of Rosemont Announces Installation Locations for "Rosemont in Bloom" Fall Public Art Program

Beginning September 10, 20 eight-foot rose sculptures, each uniquely designed and painted by a local professional artist, school art program or nonprofit arts organization, will be installed throughout Rosemont. Together, the larger-than-life sculptures will transform the Village into an open-air gallery, creating a colorful “seek-and-find” experience that encourages residents and visitors to explore Rosemont while discovering each one-of-a-kind work of art.

The sculptures will be installed at highly visible locations throughout the community, including parks, entertainment venues and public spaces. Featured installation sites include:

• Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (5555 N. River Rd.)
• Dunne Park (9499 Glenlake St.)
• Outdoor Walking Paths Along Higgins Road & Scott Street
• The Pearl District (9870 Berwyn Ave.)
• Rosemont Theatre (5400 N. River Rd.)
• Rosemont Village Hall (9501 Technology Blvd.)

Additional sculptures will be installed at other to-be-determined locations throughout the Village, giving visitors even more opportunities to discover the collection and experience the diverse artistic interpretations of the rose sculptures.
