Kim Eenigenburg took this picture at her Chicago Heights home of an Arizona sunflower plant, solar light, covered with a spider web.

Tom Potter, of Palatine, sent in this photo of the harvest moon rise over the Chicago skyline, taken in Rosemont. He said, "The moon was two days from full. The dark band in the lower part of the image is the Earth's shadow."

Michelle Needham, of Plainfield, captured this great shot of a fox during the morning hours on Merlot Lane in the Vintage Harvest neighborhood. She said, "This beautiful fox was sitting in the middle of the street at the end of my driveway like a statue, then sauntered to this tree in my neighbor's yard."
