What's More Prevalent in Chicago, Fast Food or Pizza?

CHICAGO, IL - Chicago is widely considered the pizza king of the United States, but it's another type of restaurant that beats out pizza in terms of numbers within city limits.

According to the chart below, there are more places for fast food than a deep dish pie. But just barely.

And the list shows Mexican, Chinese and American fare is also no stranger to the city.

While the terms 'Giordano's,' 'Gino's East' and 'Lou Malnati's' are more in line with the common stream of thoughts when talking about city food, you are more likely to find a 'McDonald's,' 'Burger King' or 'Wendy's'.
