Wilmette Five Guys Theft an Inside Job: Cops
Employee at Wilmette location of Five Guys burger chain charged after skimming register, say police.
WILMETTE, IL - Friday afternoon, the store manager of Five Guys Burgers at 3232 Lake Avenue reported an employee stole $150.00 from the cash drawer Friday afternoon.
Wilmette Police responded and questioned the employee after reading him his Miranda rights. The employee later admitted to stealing the money and was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft, police said.
