Woman Fatally Shot At Chicago Walgreen’s
The shooting happened at a Walgreen's located on the 4800 block of West Fullerton Avenue in Chicago's Cragin neighborhood.
CHICAGO, IL — A woman is dead following an incident at a Northwest Chicago Walgreen’s late Wednesday night. Police said the woman was inside the store when she was confronted by a man who, after a verbal altercation that turned physical, took out a gun and fired, striking the victim in the head.
The shooting took place around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night at the Walgreen’s located on the 4800 block of West Fullerton Avenue in the city's Cragin neighborhood, police said. Neither the suspect nor the victim have been identified.
The suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV and was reportedly wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans. The victim was transported to Mount Sinai, where she was pronounced dead.
