CHICAGO, IL — A Chicago woman is charged with attempted murder in connection with a recent shooting on the Kennedy Expressway, according to police.

Brandi A. Jolivet, 42, was charged Sunday with the Class X felony, state police said, after authorities were called about 1:30 p.m. Friday to northbound Interstate 90 at Addison Street, where a vehicle had been hit by bullets. The driver, a 55-year-old man, was not hurt, according to law enforcement.

State police used images from automatic license plate readers to help find Jolivet’s vehicle, law enforcement said. Her bond was set Monday at $100,000, according to police.
