Wooden Debris Crashes Through Taxi Windshield In The Loop Amid High Winds

CHICAGO (CBS) — Wooden-type debris fell from a construction scaffold downtown Wednesday morning, striking two vehicles, police reported. The incident took place around 7:40 a.m. at Adams and Wacker amid high winds.

Police said the driver of one of the vehicles was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with an arm injury. Police said the man was injured by the windshield of his vehicle and he is in good condition.
