YMCA of Metro Chicago Ready to Help Parents If CPS Teachers Strike
The YMCA of Metro Chicago's School Days Out program provides daylong supervised activities for kids when Chicago Public Schools are closed.

When Chicago Public Schools are closed, working parents can turn to the YMCA of Metro Chicago's School Days Out program, which provides children ages 5-12 with quality supervised activities in a safe and structured environment. Students at five of the seven participating YMCA centers will receive a healthy breakfast, lunch and snack, thanks to our partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
School Days Out is open to all parents, but priority will be given to Y members. Space is limited, so parents are encouraged to register today. Find your local center by visiting our locations page.
