A Dolton man was found shot to death in his driveway and police have charged a man he met on a dating app with his murder.

DOLTON, IL - A Dolton man was shot and killed by a man he met on a dating app earlier this month, prosecutors allege in charging a 25-year-old man from Markham with murder. Marvis Boyd Jr. faces a murder charge on accusations he tried to rob the victim with a gun after the two had sex, according to a report from the Chicago Tribune. The victim, Pierre Kimbrough of the 15200 block of South Blackstone Avenue, was just 31 years old.

Charges indicate Boyd drove to the victim's home on Feb. 16, when the two had sex. Boyd then pulled a gun out on Kimbrough and shot him three times in an argument, twice inside and once as he tried to flee outside according to charging information, according to police.

Dolton police found Kimbrough dead of multiple gunshot wounds while partially clothed in his driveway.
