PARK FOREST, IL -- Park Forest police are looking for a suspect they say sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman in the village on Monday. The woman was sexually assaulted by a man armed with a handgun around 4:40 p.m. that day near Wildwood Drive and Wilshire Street. She does not know the man who attacked her. Police described the suspect on Facebook as a black man, between 18 and 24 years old, 5'2" to 5'6" with a medium athletic build. He has "light to medium skin tone with a full thin beard" and was wearing a black t- shirt and dark blue and light blue pajama style pants at the time of the attack. The victim also reported having her back pack style purse stolen, according to police. Anyone with information should call the Park Forest Police Department Investigations Unit at 708-748-1309.
