2 Killed, 3 Juveniles Injured In 5-Vehicle Crash: Police

The incident involved fire and a snapped power pole that left hundreds without electricity, according to WLS.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Two people were killed and three juveniles were injured Friday in a five-vehicle crash in Chicago Heights, according to police.

Nacease M. Spring, 26, of Calumet City, and Tyra Willingham, 45, of Chicago Heights, both died shortly after 5 p.m. Friday in connection with the crash at Chicago and East Joe Orr roads, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The three juveniles were taken to receive medical care, police said, noting the crash occurred around 4:30 p.m.

"It was cars everywhere, you know, and people were laying all out on the grass. It was crazy,” Rivers West, who drove past the scene, told WLS.
