3 Bloom Township Seniors Win $50 Grocery Certificates at Gonzalez Raffle
Bloom Township has organized the annual senior picnic for over 20 years.

(Chicago Heights, IL) – At the recent Bloom Township senior citizen picnic three local residents, in addition to enjoying lunch, entertainment, and dancing – also won food shopping prizes at a raffle sponsored by Chicago Heights Mayor David Gonzalez.
During the Bloom picnic, held at Veterans Memorial Park in Glenwood on August 3, Joyce Alcott, Rosalinda Guana, and Ida Burtow each won a $50 grocery gift certificates from Gonzalez’s raffle.
“Bloom Township’s annual senior picnic is eagerly anticipated every summer by residents,” said Gonzalez. “The grocery gift certificate raffle is part of the fun and seniors love the shopping prizes.”
