3 To Enter Bloom Hall Of Fame
An actor, a professor and a college president will be honored as the next members of the Bloom Trail High School Hall of Fame.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - An actor, a professor and a college president are the next three members to be inducted into the Bloom Trail High School Hall of Fame when the school officially recognizes their achievements during a March 10, 2018 reception at a restaurant in Steger. Cory Hardrict, Dr. Maria Acena Nagel and Dr. Terri L. Winfree will join the 22 members who are currently in the hall of fame at the Chicago Heights school.
A 1993 Bloom alum, Hardrict is a movie and television actor and producer who has been on "NYPD Blue" and "CSI: Miami." He also appeared in the 1999 movie "Never Been Kissed," starring Drew Barrymore.
Nagel, Class of 1987, is an associate professor of a research laboratory at the University of Colorado School of Medicine who manages multiple research grants that support work on how the virus that causes chickenpox and shingles may also cause strokes.

Winfree, who graduated from Bloom in 1977, has been the president of Prairie State College in Chicago Heights since 2013. Her lengthy resume also includes publications, conference presentations and community involvement.
Reservations for the Hall of Fame dinner ceremony at Scrementi's Restaurant may be arranged by contacting Berda Kennedy a 708-755-7010, ext. 1121 and forwarding a check payable to Bloom Trail High School. Reservations must be made by Jan. 10.
