Man, His Parents Slain, Indiana Woman In Custody: Will County Sheriff

Charges are pending against a 30-year-old Indiana woman in what officials are calling a domestic violence incident.

CRETE TOWNSHIP, IL — A man and his parents were found slain at a home in unincorporated Will County early Monday, and police say charges are pending against a 30-year-old Indiana woman in the domestic violence-related slayings.

At 2 a.m. Monday, sheriff's police were called for a welfare check at a home in the 3400 block of Norway Trail in Crete Township, police said.

Deputies at the scene found the bodies of three adults — a 32-year-old man, his 55-year-old father and his 54-year-old mother.

In a news release, the sheriff's office said a 30-year-old woman, described as a "person of interest," fled the scene of the killings and was found in Indiana. Police said charges are pending against the woman.

Autopsies were scheduled for the three victims.

Authorities said there is no threat to the public, as the incident appears to be domestic in nature.
