CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Aiyana Ross of Chicago Heights has been awarded the Bradford and Patricia Ferrer Scholarship in Education.

The scholarship, awarded by Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development, is given to an undergraduate student who is preparing for a career in teaching who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher. It was established by Georgia State graduates Bradford and Patricia Ferrer.

Georgia State University is an urban public research university and a national leader in graduating students from diverse backgrounds.
