β’ $3M Grant Will Fund Construction Of New, 'Purpose-Built' Aunt Martha's Women's Health Clinic (patch.com) β Chicago Heights residents can look forward to a new, purpose-built Aunt Martha's women's health clinic on Joe Orr Road, funded by nearly $3 million in state capital grants. The replacement facility will expand obstetric, gynecologic, family planning, behavioral health, and telehealth services, aiming to improve privacy, care coordination, and access for women and families across the South Suburbs.

β’ Suburban men charged after Chicago Heights traffic stop (fox32chicago.com) β A lateβAugust traffic stop near West 26th and Aberdeen in Chicago Heights led Cook County sheriff's investigators to recover two loaded guns and arrest two south suburban men. Neither had the required gun licenses, and one suspect remains held in Cook County Jail while the other was released after an initial court hearing in Markham.
