Baby Yoda sightings at Franciscan Health

Olympia Fields hospital celebrates the new Star Wars film release with Baby Yoda caps for all babies born on December 19

The force is strong in these babies at Franciscan Health Family Birth Center.

As the anticipation grew for the opening of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” the force is with infants born on Thursday, December 19, at Franciscan Health Family Birth Center in Olympia Fields.

The hospital’s labor and delivery staff presented all babies born on December 19, with tiny “Baby Yoda” knit caps and onesies, including a baby girl born to the Patrick family of South Holland, and a baby boy born to the Brassea family of Chicago Heights.

The caps were made by Erin Ollis, a childhood Star Wars fan, who resides in Crown Point, IN. She spent this Christmas season knitting baby caps inspired by the “Baby Yoda:” character from the Disney+ series “The Mandalorian.”
