Bloom 206 Track Stars Receive Full-Ride Scholarships
Kyja Griggs and Hannah Morris are taking the next step.
Two Bloom Township High School District 206 student athletes have received full-ride scholarships thanks to their efforts and achievements.
Kyja Griggs has signed an offer letter for a full scholarship to Winona State University. Griggs recently placed 6th in the 4x100 at the IHSA State Meet, where the Bloom 206 took 16th as a team. Griggs is a two-time State Meet participant and broke the Bloom Township Indoor and Outdoor records in the triple jump.
Hannah Morris has accepted a full scholarship offer to attend the University of Minnesota. Morris was an All-State competitor six times as part of the Bloom 206 track and field team, including a State Championship in 2016, competing in the long jump and relays.

"The work these young athletes have put into the activities they love is immeasurable, and the entire Bloom 206 family is proud to see them continue their education with full scholarships," said Superintendent Lenell Navarre.
