Bloom Township Supervisor T.J. Somer and the Board of Trustees are pleased to announce the Annual Senior Picnic will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Veterans Memorial Park, 19101 Halsted Street, Glenwood, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tickets are now on sale through the Senior Department for $5.00 each through July 26th. No tickets are sold the day of the picnic.
A complete chicken box lunch will be provided along with beer, pop and ice cream for dessert. A free gift will also be handed out to everyone in attendance compliments of the Bloom Township Supervisor and Board of Trustees.

Several health care providers will have games and prizes on hand in the morning and a raffle will be held after lunch.
Entertainment and dancing is provided for enjoyment throughout the day.

Bloom Township is pleased to announce that Illinois Department on Aging Director, Paula Basta will be attending the picnic along with township and local state and municipal officials.
Bus service is available by calling the Bloom Township Senior Wheels program directly at 708-754-8200 and is free for all rides to the picnic. You must be pre-registered for service.
