Bloom Trail High School Honors Veterans on Staff

The high school commemorated the national holiday by recognizing the veterans who continue to serve in a new way.

In honor of Veterans Day, Bloom Trail High School is honoring the United States Military Veterans on staff as well as all veterans throughout our country.

"It is important that we take this day as a nation to thank all of the men and women who have honored our country through their military service," said Principal Glynis Keene. "Bloom Trail would like to thank these members of our community who are veterans.

  • Mr. Vincent Harper- Vietnam War Veteran
  • Lt. Commander Patrick Isom- US Navy
  • Mr. Jon Johnson- US Navy - Desert Storm Veteran
  • Mr. Christopher Madison- US Navy
  • Mr. Steven Rogus- Illinois Army National Guard
  • Mr. David Shambo- US Navy
  • Chief Larry Shelton- US Navy

Both Bloom and Bloom Trail high schools are holding a special events on November 11th to honor veterans.
