Carjackings Reported On Consecutive Days In Park Forest
Both incidents occurred at the same multi-family residence, police said.

PARK FOREST, IL - Carjacking incidents with similar narratives were reported at the same location on consecutive days in Park Forest last week. Park Forest police said it's not known for sure that the incidents are related, but the suspects were also described the same way after both calls.
The incidents occurred at the parking lots of the multi-family residence in the 23400 block of Western Avenue just south of Steger Road on Friday, Aug.10 and Saturday, Aug. 11.
In the Friday incident, reported at 6:15 p.m., police were told a woman was carjacked at gunpoint by two men.

On Saturday, police were told that two men carjacked a victim at 4:50 p.m.
Suspects in both incidents were described as black men in their late teens or early 20s.

"We want the community to be aware and take extra caution when entering and exiting your vehicle," police said while alerting residents to the incidents on social media.
