Chase Bank ATM Robbed In 2 Separate Broad Daylight Heists

The ATM of a Chase Bank in Calumet City has been hit by robbers for the second time in two months.

CALUMET CITY, IL - For the second time in less than two months, two men robbed the ATM of the Chase Bank location at 1783 River Drive in Calumet City. The FBI did not immediately link the two crimes, but details are similar to incidents reported on May 4 and June 28.

An FBI alert says that two people robbed the ATM at the bank at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. One wore a black hooded sweatshirt, white pants and white gloves while the other had on a black hooded sweatshirt and light pants.

On May 4, one of the suspects was described as a black man with a light complexion, 5'9" to 5'11", 150 to 160 pounds. The other was a black man with a darker complexion, 5'10" to 6'1", 150 to 170 pounds with a thin build. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading directly to the arrest of the suspects, who should be considered armed and dangerous.
