Chicago Bears Player to Speak at Marian Catholic High School

Former Chicago Bear and 1985 Super Bowl champion Dennis McKinnon, will visit with Marian Catholic's varsity football team.

Former Chicago Bears receiver and 1985 Super Bowl champion Dennis McKinnon, will visit with Marian Catholic’s varsity football team at their weekly team dinner on Thursday, October 10th at 5:15 p.m.

McKinnon will be speaking at Marian Catholic High School inside the Sr. M. Paul McCaughey, OP Leadership Center. This is closed to the public.

Dennis McKinnon recently launched his book “Chicago Bear #85 Silky D Bears All” in which he talks about his struggles growing up and the unlikely chance he became a "walk-on" for the Bears. McKinnon will share with students his story about life on and off the field, as well as his thoughts about the value of diversity and the need to hear all backgrounds and perspectives.
