Chicago Heights Man, 31, Killed In I-94 Crash In Indiana

PORTER COUNTY, INDIANA — A Chicago Heights man was killed Saturday morning when the car he was driving struck a parked semi-truck on I-94 in Indiana.

Carlos D. Robinson, 31, was driving a 2011 Cadillac westbound on the shoulder of I-94 andpassing another vehicle when it hit the semi around 6:45 a.m. The truck had been curbed for mechanical issues, reports WBIW.com.

Robinson's car struck the semi at a high rate of speed, resulting in fatal injuries to Robinson, according to the report. The driver of the semi was not injured.
