CHSD170 Brings Golf to Students Via Foresight GCQuad Golf Simulators

Chicago Heights School District 170 is expanding the opportunities for its students to experience new fields of endeavor by bringing Foresight GCQuad golf simulators to the Fitness Center at Washington-McKinley School.

While the district-sponsored golf team will significantly benefit from the new equipment, the simulators will also allow other students to learn a game with which they might not be familiar while doing exercises and playing simulated courses from all around the world.

“I believe the simulators will expose our students to a game with a significant history in promoting business, educational, and social relationships on many different levels and which will positively affect their future success on the golf course and in life in general,” said CHSD170 Superintendent Tom Amadio.

“Golf is a costly game, and many of our students may not have the wherewithal or opportunities to learn the sport because of the diverse costs associated with the game.”

“It is our hope that access to the simulators will provide the means required to introduce our students to a game renowned for rewarding athletic skill, intelligence, diligence, and honesty.”

Amadio noted that members of the district golf team, soon to be in its fifth year of existence under coaches Elizabeth Tapajna and Ryan Kvasnicka, are very excited about the new equipment.

“I think it’s important to realize that students will be able to use the golf simulators every month to improve their game year around and, also, that our district staff may utilize the Fitness Center and simulators whenever possible to significantly promote health and wellness district-wide,” Amadio added.

The Foresight GCQuad has repeatedly won the Golf Digest Editors’ Choice Award as the game’s best simulator. It provides vital information on a golfer’s swing, monitoring aspects such as ball speed, launch angle, spin rates, carry and total distances, and angle of attack. Countless players on the PGA, DP World, LPGA, LIV, Korn Ferry professional tours, and many collegiate golf squads use the GCQuad Simulator to improve their games.

El Distrito Escolar 170 de Chicago Heights está ampliando las oportunidades para que sus estudiantes experimenten nuevos campos de actividad al traer simuladores de golf Foresight GCQuad al gimnasio de la escuela Washington-McKinley.

Si bien el equipo de golf patrocinado por el distrito se beneficiará significativamente con el nuevo equipo, los simuladores también permitirán que otros estudiantes aprendan un juego con el que quizás no estén familiarizados mientras hacen ejercicios y juegan en campos simulados de todo el mundo.

Amadio señaló que los miembros del equipo de golf del distrito, que pronto cumplirá su quinto año de existencia bajo la dirección de los entrenadores Elizabeth Tapajna y Ryan Kvasnicka, están muy entusiasmados con el nuevo equipamiento.

"Otro punto positivo con respecto al gimnasio y los simuladores es que tanto el personal como los estudiantes podrán utilizarlos, una medida que promoverá significativamente la salud y el bienestar en todo el distrito", agregó Amadio.

“Creo que es importante darse cuenta de que los estudiantes podrán usar los simuladores de golf todos los meses para mejorar su juego durante todo el año y, también, que el personal de nuestro distrito puede utilizar el gimnasio y los simuladores siempre que sea posible para promover significativamente la salud y el bienestar del distrito de ancho”, añadió Amadio.

Foresight GCQuad ha ganado repetidamente el premio Golf Digest Editors' Choice Award como el mejor simulador del juego. Proporciona información vital sobre el swing de un golfista, monitoreando aspectos como la velocidad de la bola, el ángulo de lanzamiento, las velocidades de giro, las distancias totales y de acarreo y el ángulo de ataque.
