CHSD170's Greenbriar School Assembly Addresses Bullying

Omegaman Urges Students to Respect Others

Chicago Heights School District 170’s Greenbriar School welcomed a member of the Omegaman and Friends ensemble to an assembly on Monday, October 26th.

The assembly was held as part of the school’s Bully Prevention Month activities. During the presentation, Omegaman helped students to learn how to identify, respond, and prevent bullying in school and urged students to be a HERO (Helping Everyone Respect Others).

“We, at Greenbriar School, are very aware of the many instances of bullying that exist in all areas of our society and are making every effort to take a proactive stance against bullying,” said Greenbriar Principal Joe Taylor.

“To that end, we believe that presenting a positive Superhero message to our students will serve as an important step in helping curtail incidents of bullying.”
