CHSD170's Roosevelt School's Student Council Hosts K-1 Students
The Halloween celebration welcomed the school's newest students as members of the Roosevelt School 'family'
The Student Council (Grades 5 – 8) at CHSD170's Roosevelt School recently hosted a 'Go Noodle Costume Party' for the school's Kindergarten and first-grade students.
The students were encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to the dance party featuring videos from the Go Noodle website.
"The event was a great success," said Nicole Govert, a 7th/8th grade ELA and 8th-grade Homeroom teacher.

"We hoped that the dance would serve as a welcoming introduction to our school for the youngest members of the Roosevelt family and it exceeded our expectations," she said.
Several members of the Student Council agreed with Govert's assessment.
