College Student Killed In Gas Station Armed Robbery

Two people were shot during an armed robbery at a Clark gas station in Dolton.

DOLTON, IL - A teenager was killed and a man seriously injured in a gas station armed robbery that turned deadly in Dolton late Thursday morning. Family members have identified the victims of the tragedy at Clark gas station as 19-year-old Arshad Vhora and 55-year-old Bakar Saieed, according to a report from ABC-7-Chicago.

Police were called to the Clark station in the 700 block of East 142nd Street around 11 a.m. by a man on the phone line who was unable to speak. When they arrived, they found both gunshot victims unresponsive.

It is believed that the two were victims of an armed robbery in which shots were fired. Vhora, a college student, died while Saieed was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition.
