Cook County Hosts Virtual Town Hall To Discuss COVID-19 Response

South suburban residents invited to virtual town hall May 8 to hear about Cook County's rapid-equity response to coronavirus.

SOUTH SUBURBAN COOK, IL — Cook County elected officials will host a coronavirus virtual town for south suburban residents. The town hall will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 8.

Join Cook County Board Toni Preckwinkle, Commissioners Stanley Moore (4th District), Deborah Sims (6th District) and Donna Miller (6th District) to learn more about the county’s equity-focused rapid response to COVID-19. Representatives from the Cook County Department of Public Health and the Department of Emergency Management and Regional Security will also be available to discuss the county’s response and answer residents questions via a live chat.

The town hall will be streamed as a Teams Live Event and will focus on residents of the south suburbs. RSVP is required through Cook County Town Hall EventbriteCook County Town Hall Eventbrite to participate. Residents can also submit questions in advance.
