Cop On A Rooftop Planned For August 19 In Chicago Heights
Cops will be atop Dunkin locations in Chicago Heights on August 19 to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Be sure to keep an eye out for Chicago Heights police on the rooftop of Dunkin locations on August 19. From 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., Chicago Heights Police Department officers will be on the rooftops for its annual Cop on a Rooftop fundraising event, which benefits Special Olympics Illinois.
Locations include:
- 120 N. Halsted St.
- 431 W. 14th St.
- 3225 Chicago Rd.
Customers who donate will be given a coupon for a free donut, and donors giving $10 or more will receive a coupon for a free coffee and a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug (while supplies last).

This is the 20th year of this event; the partnership in Illinois has raised more than $6.7 million. In 2021, nearly $870,000 was raised across 283 locations. This year's goal is to raise more than $900,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.
