Dog Stolen from South Suburban Humane Society

Staff at South Suburban Humane Society in Chicago Heights are asking area residents to be on the lookout for a pit bull mix that was stolen from the shelter Wednesday night.

Two white males, age 19–20, and a white female with brown hair and a blonde streak took ”Cheeser” and fled in a black, late-model Monte Carlo, according to the shelter’s Facebook page. The act was caught on surveillance video, and a police report has been filed.

Cheeser is 10 months old, tan with a white chest, and estimated at 56 pounds. His microchip has been flagged as stolen. If you have any information, please contact email emily@southsuburbanhumane.org
