A 3-day procession to protest the building of a new immigration detention center in crete will be passing through Chicago Heights on Saturday and Sunday. If it is approved, it would be the largest immigration detention center in the state and rake in profits for a private corporation, all at the expense of our friends, families and neighborhoods.
