Each year many classic cars -- from Model A's to anything from the present -- drive down historic Dixie Highway starting in Blue Island to Momence. Stops are made along the way and everyone has a great time celebrating history.
Classic cars will be parked in front of Union Street Gallery while members of the Drama Group stroll Otto Boulevard in 1920s period costumes. Inside, the gallery will offer refreshments, an exhibit on the historic Lincoln Highway, and a display of art work from Union Street Studio and Guild Artists.
The Gallery will be open (local artists in residence - art on display- wonderful adaptive reuse of an historic Elk's lodge) will be open from 9AM to 2PM. Cars come by approximatley starting at 10AM
