Learn how to create an abstract painting! Under the direction of well known painter Patricia Moore, students will explore color, perspective, depth, and composition as they create their own abstract work of art.

Students are required to bring their own surface to paint on. Any surface will be acceptable, but must be no larger than 3ft. Some ideas include canvas, wood, paper, or cardboard. Raw canvas or wood should be primed with gesso or primer before class. If you need instruction on this process, please contact the gallery for assistance. Primed canvas or hardboard can be bought at any craft or art supply store.

Paint (acrylic), brushes, and sketching materials will be provided; however students are welcome to bring their own supplies.
