South Suburban PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) will host its 13th annual golf outing at Glenwoodie Golf Course in Glenwood on Monday, Aug. 15.
Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. There is a putting contest at 10 a.m. Golf starts at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start. An awards buffet banquet starts at 4:30 p.m.
There will be a Hole-in-One “Winner’s Choice” prize of a trip for two, valued at $10,000. Additional prizes will be awarded for Closest-to-the Pin; Longest Putt; Longest Drive; and Low Gross for men and for women.

The golf outing is one of PADS major fundraising initiatives held each year.
“Fundraising is primary to being able to continually provide services to the many homeless individuals in the south and southwest suburbs that seek our help,” said Dale Taylor, chairman of PADS Fundraising Committee.

The cost for this year’s outing is $110 ($100 if paid before July15), and includes a continental breakfast, lunch ticket, green fees and cart, and the awards buffet banquet.
