Lost Dog Returns Home To Family In Olympia Fields

UPDATE, 9:30 p.m.: Smokey has returned home. He showed up at his family's doorstep after being away for more than 24 hours.

OLYMPIA FIELDS, IL - An Olympia Fields family has spent much of the last 24 hours trying to find Smokey, the family dog. Smokey got out of a gate in the backyard of a home in the area of Western Avenue and Vollmer Road, a Lost Dogs Illinois poster shows.

Smokey is a one-and-a-half year-old grey and white pit bull with short hair. He got out Wednesday at 11:52 a.m.
